BJP holds post-election meeting in Suruhuto

DIMAPUR — The BJP 33 Suruhuto Assembly Constituency had a post-election coordination meeting-cum-handing and taking over programme of the mandal president at Aluphu Farm, Suruhuto, Zunheboto district, on Wednesday.

According to an update, the meeting was attended by former MLA H Khehovi Yeputhomi, state co-chief spokesperson Khevishe Achumi, Zunheboto district BJP president Hekhushe Shikhu, and state executive member Shikuto Achumi.

Addressing a gathering of BJP supporters, Yeputhomi urged party workers and supporters not to be emotionally swept away by various political gimmicks but to always stand firm with the party's principles and ideologies, noting that diligence and steadfastness always reap richly in their own good time.

Shikhu and Achumi also encouraged the attendees to be sincere and loyal to the party.

In his address, the new mandal president, Kavito Jakhalu, expressed his gratitude to the party for putting their trust in him to lead the 33 Suruhuto A/C as mandal president. He assured the supporters that he would lead the party to the best of his ability and asked for their cooperation.
