Diphu, June 11 (EMN): Former Chief Minister of Assam Tarun Gogoi said ‘BJP government is not the people’s government’ during his visit to Diphu on Sunday.
Addressing in the programme, Gogoi said ‘BJP government is not people’s government; they are exploiting the people which was started with demonetisation and introduces certain laws upon the society that has adversely affected the society.
‘In the name of advertisement, the BJP government is exploiting the people’, Gogoi stated. The state BJP government led by Sarbananda Sonawal is an adulterated government mixed with AGP, BPF etc.
‘The BJP government is a partiality government sanctioned Rs.400 crore for Bodoland Territorial Area District (BTAD) whereas not even a single rupee was sanctioned for Karbi Anglong and Dima Hasoa.
Not only that the BJP government is run by RSS so it is very dangerous for the people irrespective of religious ground, they know how to dismantle churches, and mosques. Instead they wanted to erect temple all over India by in the name of Hindutva, Gogoi added.
Anytime they may ignite communal violence. So the BJP is a communal party, urge the people not to support the party.
Gogoi also alleged, Chief Executive Member (CEM) of KAAC Tuliram Ronghang as ‘doi numbari’ person. He said crores of public money was corrupted by him during his tenure. No development works was done during tenure.
Gogoi further highlighted, Dr. Himanta Biswas who also fled from congress and marched with BJP had consumed the money of Congress which was sanctioned during the congress regime.
The election campaign public meeting was organised by Karbi Anglong District Congress Committee (KADCC) and was attended by congress dignitaries. The programme was presided by Member of Parliament , 4 ST Parliamentary Constituency Biren Sing Engti.
