Dimapur, Jan. 13 (EMN): The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) conducted its 2nd phase booth level unit training in Mon district on Jan. 13 covering 43rd Tapi and 41st Tizit assembly constituencies. This was informed in a press release issued by party Media Cell on Sat.
The training was attended by 188 in Tapi and 340 in Tizit, the party claimed.
Addressing the meeting, booth level training convener, K James Vizo said “BJP will be the only party that could provide stability in the state with good governance, free of corruption and development will become reality if elected to power.”
The recent victory of the BJP in Himachal Pradesh and Gujarat assembly polls is a win for Modi’s development agenda against the politics of dynasty, casteism and appeasement of the rivals, Vizo said.
Out of 29 states in the country, BJP rules in 19 States and is riding high on Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s popularity, he said adding that ‘BJP made an impressive gain in many states which indicates the people’s faith in politics of development and good governance of the party.’
Stating that ‘Nagaland in a recent time has experienced instability with the governance and performance is at a standstill,’ Vizo asserted that if BJP comes to power, it can bring transformation and reformation in the state.
Media Cell co-convener Yaghose Sangtam said that most of the flagship programmes under Modi’s government is basically focusing on the welfare of the downtrodden section of the people especially the schedule tribe and caste; and widows of the weaker sections, the press release stated.
BJP’s top priority is to deliver development, good governance, performance and a corruption- free government, Sangtam echoed.
State BJP secretary Lima Onen Chang highlighted the vision document of the state BJP Nagaland and shared about the schemes for village guards which have sizeable presence in the eastern region.
