Dimapur, August 5 (EMN): The State Bharatiya Janata Mahila Morcha (BJMM) observed the birth centenary of Pandit Deendayal Upadhaya, the forerunner of BJP, on Saturday at Tourist Lodge, Dimapur.
The programme was chaired by the state BJMM vice-president, Kethole-ü Metha while invocation prayer was said by executive member, Vikheli and welcome speech was delivered by Asangla Ao. BJMM president, Sanuo Ngullie delivered the presidential address while senior executive member, Doodh Singh gave the life history of Pandit Deen Dayal.
State BJP vice president, Tsasepi Sangtam, in his speech encouraged and advised women to take active part in fulfilling the aspirations of the party as they play an important role in society.
The celebration concluded with vote thanks by the State BJMM general secretary, Kaghali Chishi.
