Dimapur, Jan. 12: Vihokhe Chishi, the first Pastor from Kiyekhü village (1942-1957), biography (Xü Ghili), authored by his fourth son Rev. Dr. Vikheshe Chishi, founder and principal of Withee Bible College, Dimapur, was released by Rev. Vihuto Jimo.
The biography was brought out by his children and in-laws, so that his children, grandchildren and in-laws would follow his footsteps to love and serve people for the sake of Jesus Christ.
Rev. Küghato, Pastor of Satakha Town Baptist Church, while delivering a message said Vihokhe’s children were who they are today is because of their parents and reminded them that their children would be solely depend on individual. He added that Vihokhe contributed great work for Kiyekhü Baptist Church and left the legacy which his descendents and Kiyekhü people should imitate him and be blessed.
Vihokhe served the Lord for 15 years and brought the majority men and women to Jesus Christ during his Pastorship. The seed he had sown during the late 1940s and 1950s was fruitfully harvested and Kiyekhü Baptist Church celebrated Platinum Jubilee from January 7 and 8.
