Dimapur, July 8 (EMN): A summer Bible school (SBS) which began on July 4 at the Christian Hr. Sec. School (CHSS) in Dimapur concluded on Sat. July 7. The school was jointly conducted by the CHSS and the Town Baptist Church of Dimapur at the school’s hall in Dimapur.
During the summer school, students were arranged into different groups which comprised of Eagles, Warriors, Champions, Kingdom Buds, and Super Kids. Altogether 120 teachers and volunteers, and 843 students participated in the four-day Bible camp.
On the final day a closing programme was conducted at Covenant Hall from 7:50 am–12:40 pm. During the closing programme many activities were performed by different groups. A participant Zuben E Ngullie spoke about his experience from the four days summer school. In his speech he thanked the teachers stating that they had to sacrifice their summer holidays and be with them at the school. He compared his teachers to Jesus Christ explaining that it was the teachers that taught them all about Jesus during the summer camp. He affirmed that the Bible camp brought them closer to God and hoped for the event to take place every year.
