Rev. Dr. Phughoto Sema pronouncing the opening prayer to start the WSBAK Bible reading marathon 2021.

Dimapur, May 3 (EMN): With an aim to read the entire Bible from Genesis to Revelation within six days, a Bible reading marathon was flagged-off at Nagaland Coffee Shop in Dimapur on Monday. The Bible marathon is an imitative of WSBAK.

An update stated that starting from May 3 to the 8th, the WSBAK along with its 170 member churches are expected to take part in Bible reading everyday by following the SOP guidelines. Around 60 to 70 participants starting from 5 am till 8 pm will participate in the event marking a total of around 500 participants under WSBAK churches, it informed.

It stated that the marathon was among one of the many creative programmes of WSBAK with its aim to ‘proclaim the word of God in the society, remind the importance of Bible reading to motivate churches irrespective of denomination to keep on ministering the Word of God in every possible way despite the pandemic’.
