She appealed to the staff at the new sub centre and the village health committee to focus on VHND, weekly and monthly reporting, which is mandatory for the smooth functioning of the health unit.

Dr. Obangjungla also requested the village council, elders, and village health committee to continue to extend their help and support to the department.

DPO (RCH/UIP) Dr. Imnameren Phom said that Bhumnyu village sub-centre is the ninth sub-centre in the district. He explained that sub-centre has two types– A and B. He requested communities, church leaders, students and women leaders to join hands and work together, so that the newly inaugurated health unit will be upgraded to type B in a few years time. He also urged the Ashas to work sincerely as they are the backbone in the health unit and also appealed the communities to extend their help and support to the Ashas.
