Dimapur, July 24 (EMN): Government officials in Bhandari sub-division have discussed on the possibility to improve supply of water and electricity for the welfare of the public.
The issues were discussed during the departmental coordination meeting of Bhandari sub-division on July 24 held at the conference hall of the Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC), Bhandari.
ADC, Tiameren Chang, while welcoming the officers who were newly posted in the sub division, informed that the ambulance which was flagged off recently has been put into service to assist the public.
Besides, the house also chalked out programmes for the upcoming Independence Day celebration and assigned works to various departments.
The house also resolved to organise a mass social work as part of preparation for the upcoming Independence Day on July 7. The house further decided that the traffic island which was under construction at Bhandari town and is nearing completion would be inaugurated on the same day.
In the meeting, department of ICDS made a power point presentation on its activities.
