Children took part in various activities in photography, art, dance, yoga; social etiquette, public speaking; and table manners and crafts, among others. The workshop had various resource persons: Vili Chophi, administrator of Star Excellence Kindergarten, in craft; photographer Yanglem Langti, and Kawoto Achumi for art; Petros Dance Studio’s Afang Alem; director of Hero Mind Cathy Imtila; and Orentsani Kikon for yoga, the school’s proprietor Keren Sumi said. "Easter is the perfect time to get creative with children as this is one celebration that always brings people together and is connected with family and friends,” Sumi said. “And this dedicated workshop for them will allow them to play with materials and design their creativity. This is why I wanted to do a small activity with children for this Easter holiday." The school states to have a mission to reach as many young people as possible and expose them to the joy and freedom that comes from sharing experiences. Social etiquette and manners are important for kids as for the adult, Sumi opined. Parents push their children for education which is important, Sumi said. But in doing so, they ignore imparting to them other aspects of education such as social etiquettes, for instance. The workshop hoped to offer in a little way education in basic etiquette, it was informed. Competitions among the participants also were a feature of the workshop. The winners of the various events: ‘Best yoga participant’ Mhachen Ovung; ‘best creativity junior’ Alimvi Chishi; ‘best creativity kids’ Keelika Zhimo and Illivi Zhimo; ‘best creativity senior’ Ojentila Lemtur, Vinikali Chopy, and Likina Achumi; ‘best dancer’ Isaac Zakiesato; ‘best disciplined' Keneiguno Zakiesato; ‘best painter’ Edna Aye, who also won the ‘best Easter egg painter’ title.
