BEITS super series 2017 concludes

Kohima, May 9 (EMN): The BEITS super series 2017 concluded on Monday, May 8 at the retired engineer Kevizatuo Miachieo's private indoor stadium here. The badminton tournament featured doubles event, held from May 3 to 8. The duo of Petevituo and Kedi Puro emerged as the champion while Er. Kevizatuo Miachieo and Akhrie Mepfhuo finished as runner-up. Teisovise Khuomo and Khrienyiihu Solo bagged third position. Akhrie Mepfhuo was declared as best player of the tournament. The cash prize for the winners of Rs. 10,000/-, Rs.7000/- and Rs.5000/- for the champion, runners-up and third position was sponsored by Er. Kevizatuo Miachieo, retired engineer-in-chief Power, Pelezotuo Miachieo EE (Power) Education and Keviselhou Sekhose PS to parliamentary secretary for State Lotteries & MTF respectively.
