KOHIMA — Commissioner
and Secretary for School Education and SCERT Nagaland, Kevileno Angami on
Monday exhorted the students to prepare themselves beyond examinations.
She made this remark while interacting with students during
the viewing of Pariksha Pe Charcha at Dr. Neilhouzhü Kire Government Higher
Secondary School, Kohima.
Kevileno pointed out that Pariksha Pe Charcha is a
discussion on examinations initiated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and one
which has now become an annual event.
The discussion between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and
students was live streamed in schools across the state as directed by
Directorate of School Education, Nagaland.
She observed that many of the issues raised by students
revolved around stress, anxiety, and choosing the right academic streams. She
asserted that these concerns are relevant to all students.
The official further stated that the core idea of the
programme is to address how students can manage stress during examinations.
Noting that the students gathered were from Class 10 who
would soon be appearing for their examinations, she advised them to prepare not
only for exams but also for the challenges they will face in life.
The Nagaland Board of School Education (NBSE) will conduct
the High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) and Higher Secondary School Leaving
Certificate (HSSLC) Examinations 2025 from February 11 till March 5.
“As we journey through
life, we will encounter many challenges and problems. But there are always
solutions. It’s about how we approach them, how we handle failures, and how we
embrace challenges with a positive mindset,” she said.
She reiterated the need for students to be prepared to face
both exams and future challenges with resilience.
The event was also attended by Commissioner and Secretary
for Information and Public Relations (IPR) and Mission Director of Samagra
Shiksha, Temsunaro Aier, Director of School Education, Razouseyi Vese, SCERT
Director Kevirale-ü, and other officials from the department.
