Kohima, June 1 (EMN): Bazar India, a growing premium lifestyle company in India, has opened its first outlet in Kohima town at High School this morning.
The outlet was inaugurated by administrator of the Kohima Municipal Council (KMC) Kethosituo Sekhose.
In a brief address during the programme, Sekhose said that the KMC was happy with the new businesses that are coming up in the town. This, according to him, promotes healthy competition and control market prices.
The managing director of Bazar India, Sushil Karwa said its primary objective was to ‘serve the citizens of Kohima by providing good garments in all segments at a minimal cost.’ Appreciating the fashion sense among the people of the state, he was optimistic that the people would be greatly benefitted in terms of fashion and budget.
Besides, Sushil Karwa said, the outlet has given employment opportunities to about 45 local youths, who have been placed in various segments of the business house. He informed that the company has branches in Itanagar, Aizawl, Imphal and Guwahati which are running successfully so far. The company is also planning to open its branch in Dimapur very soon.
Bazar India will be open from 9 am to 9pm on all weekdays. With innovative designs, concepts and products, the company assures to bring in the latest trends in fashion and clothing to the apparel market.
