Dimapur, June 22 (EMN): Bayavü Youth Organisation (BYO) has strongly condemned the raid perpetrated by Assam Rifles at the residence of Kezhali-o Rülho on June 20 at lower Bayavü, Kohima, during his absence.
It stated that the actions of Assam Rifles have created insecurity upon the mind of all peaceful residents, women and children in particular.
The youth organisation has questioned the motive of Assam Rifles when the Government of India and Naga political leaders are trying their best to amicably solve the Indo-Naga political issue in a diplomatic way. The organisation under KMC Ward-2 strongly condemned such autocratic and dictatorial approach perpetrated by 3rd Battalion of Assam Rifle.
It further stated that Bayavü colony under KMC Ward-2 which consisted of three welfare board ie Upper Bayavü, Lower Bayavü and Middle Bayavü under one panchayat is one of the most peaceful residential areas within KMC jurisdiction.
