Dimapur, June 19 (EMN): In view of numerous problems and inconveniences faced by the colony residents due to random parking of vehicles thereby obstructing the regular flow of traffic particularly during meetings and agitations within its jurisdiction, Bayavu area panchayat has appealed to all public to park their cars properly.
While sympathising with the agitating groups in their fight for legitimate rights and genuine demands and morally support their struggles, the panchayat however stated that free movement of vehicles were affected due to random parking of vehicles by the agitators.
The panchayat chairman, Khinyi Woch, and the youth organisation president, Neiphrelie Metha, stated that such obstructions are creating avoidable inconveniences thereby hindering timely movement of the public to attend important and emergency cases like sicknesses and delivery cases, meetings, schools and offices etc.
The panchayat has appeal to the public to park their cars properly and organise their events, meetings and agitations without obstructing the traffic movement and without causing inconveniences to the general public. It further stated that concerned authorities and youth organisation would be compelled to take its own course of action against the defaulters.
