- DIMAPUR — The
preliminary rounds of the U-23 basketball trials for the first-ever U-23
National Basketball Championships, to be held in Guwahati, Assam, have
concluded in Kohima and Dimapur.
- According to an update, a total of 93 men and 42 women
participated across both venues. In Dimapur, 48 men and 19 women attended
trials at Tetso College Basketball Court, while Kohima saw 45 men and 23 women
participate at Don Bosco College Basketball Court.
- Following preliminary selections, 28 men and 24 women were
selected, and they will now compete in the final trials at the Medzephima
Indoor Basketball Stadium on March 1, commencing at 11 am.
- All selected players are required to bring their original
Aadhar card and birth certificate for verification. Further details regarding
the final selections and the upcoming National Championships will be announced
shortly.
