Ban imposed on operation of unregistered groups in Chümoukedima
Dr. Kuzonyi Wideo has informed that the formation and operation of unregistered organisations have been banned
- DIMAPUR — Dr.
Kuzonyi Wideo, Additional Deputy Commissioner and Executive Officer of
Chümoukedima Town Council, has informed that the formation and operation of
unregistered organisations have been banned, citing such activities as illegal
and unlawfully posing a threat to public safety and security.
- In an order, he informed this to all concerned wards under the
Chümoukedima Town Council and mentioned that it has come to notice that
numerous organisations have been formed illegally and are operating within the
Chümoukedima Town jurisdiction.
- It was further specified that the formation of all such
organisations/associations and the operation of existing unrecognised
organisations/associations in all wards must stop illegal collections
immediately.
- In this regard, all unregistered organisations/associations
under Chümoukedima Town jurisdiction are dissolved with immediate effect and
are directed to refrain from such activities.
