Interacting with media persons, Medo Putsure said Bambusa, an initiative of the Nagaland Bamboo Development Agency (NBDA), was started by him in 2013. With its state of the art bamboo interiors done by Green Gold designs, it aims to showcase the variability of bamboo as an interior and exterior design material.
Besides promoting bamboos, he said, with the local brand name it provides employment to the local people, wherein at present forty-five (45) local youth are being employed under Bambusa. At the same time, it also support lots of locally available products and utilise the services of local craftsmen for its designing. The interior décor of the Bambusa is being designed by Vizo Putsure, Green Gold Designs.
When asked about his success mantra with its caferia and restaurant running successfully for the last three years, Medo said internal operation like training and proper management of the staff are important for the success of any business.
