Dimapur, Sep. 7 (EMN): In continuation of the earlier notification with regard to verification drive, the Bade Village Council (BVC) has reminded all the landowners that the council along with the Bade youth organisation has been undertaking verification drive of non-local tenants/coolie/workers within the village jurisdiction.
The village council chairman has informed that those tenants without proper certified documents will not be allowed to reside within the village jurisdiction.
Landowners desiring to keep new tenants/coolie/workers will be required to register with the village authorities, the council stated.
The council cautioned that any dispute/cases arising out of non-registration will be borne by the landowners.
It has informed that this exercise has been carried out to check the flow of illegal immigrants. Therefore, landowners are requested to cooperate with the village authorities.
