B Sangki Konyak crowned Miss Mon 2014

[dropcap]B[/dropcap]. Sangki Konyak was crowned Miss Mon 2014 while Eji Wangnyu and Yingnon were adjudged 1st runner-up and 2nd runner-up respectively. Miss Mon Beauty Pageant 2014 was held at Council Hall Mon on September 30 with ADC Planning Zothose as guest of honour. Altogether 11 contestants took part in the beauty pageant. Miss Mon 2014 B. Sangki Konyak was awarded with a cash prize of Rs 50,000 and gift hampers while the 1st and 2nd runner-ups were awarded with Rs 30,000 and Rs 20,000 respectively along with gift hampers. Ngapgang was bagged the Miss Talent subtitle and received a cash prize of Rs 5000 with gift hamper. The contest was judged by SDO(C) Mon Ilika, EAC Sulantang, Mapulemla, who is a lecturer and Kokdiba. Miss Mon 2014 was organized by Konyak Nyupuh Sheko Khong (KNSK). The show was hosted by Dr. Esther Konyak. The crowds were entertained by Beat Breaker Boys, Victus Crew and Ms Monu. Serenade was performed by Yenwang Konyak. Vote of thanks was delivered by Phangmei, finance secretary, KNSK.
