Dimapur, Jan. 17: The Angami Youth organisation (AYO) has stated that some of the ‘intending candidates to ULB elections who have been excommunicated by their community” have been relocated to Angami areas in Dimapur and Kohima. The organisation issued a press release on Tuesday stating it would not allow “such negative characters who have refused to listen to the voice of their community and the Nagas in general to come and pollute our land, our community and the people residing in our land” – in a strong worded warning. “Therefore AYO directs these individuals to immediately relocate themselves elsewhere, if not AYO will take his own course of action to any extremity”, it cautioned.
