Over 7,000 to 8,0000 delegates from all the four Angami regions including Southern, Northern, Western and Chakhroma are expected to attend the celebrations.
This was informed by AYO officials and members of the jubilee organising committee during a press conference held this evening at the venue at Kholera, Kigwema local ground.
The inaugural day would be graced by Neiphiu Rio, Member of Lok Sabha, as the chief guest, while Dr. Vilhusa Seleyi, president of Angami Public Organisation, will be the guest of honour of the valedictory programme on the second day.
AYO leaders look forward in organising the two-day event with a difference. The celebration, as planned, will not only be a time of merry making and feasting, but a celebration which will come out with certain commitments and pledges for a better future.Mention be made that AYO had organised a seminar each in all the four Angami regions on the topics - Ethos, Economy, Education and Environment, as part of its 25th anniversary celebrations. AYO leaders informed that some resolutions would be adopted during the main celebration basing on the four topics.
It may be recalled that AYO had initiated a day to contribute towards our mother earth on October 5 by restricting vehicular movements and by giving a clarion call for minimal use of all electrical appliances within its jurisdiction on the said day.
Unlike many festivals and celebrations in Nagaland where sanitation and environment issues becomes a secondary concern, AYO looks forward to celebrate its jubilee with an eco-friendly atmosphere. It was informed that no paper plates and cups would be used during the celebration feast(s). To its replacement, the delegates will use green leaves as plates and bamboo-made cups in place of paper cups.

The day-two celebration will feature cultural competition on various categories, which would be participated by all the four Angami regions.
Apart from Angami youth, youth bodies and organisations from the Tenyimi tribes and frontal organisations from other tribes based in Kohima and around will be attending the two-day celebrations, it was informed.
