Zunheboto district administration organises awareness and speech competition in Atoizu town.

DIMAPUR — The Zunheboto district administration conducted an awareness programme and speech competition under Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan at the Jubilee Hall in Atoizu town on September 1.
An update from the administration stated that Niloni Shohe, president of Atoizu Town Students’ Union, chaired the programme and an invocation prayer was said by Helibo, catechist of St. Peter’s Church, Atoizu town.
Delivering the welcome and keynote address, Dr. Samuel Akho Konyak P, EAC of Atoizu, shared his personal journey and reflections on how childhood is the most decisive phase of life. He stressed that the right upbringing and guidance could shield students from the dangers of drug and substance abuse.

He also encouraged the youth to apply their enthusiasm for competition towards academic excellence and future pursuits.
A special song was presented by Mughashe and Visili from St. Peter’s School, Atoizu.
In the speech competition, Kameto Chishi of Adelfos School from Asukhuto town (Atoizu Town B), won the first prize, while Hinokali of St. Peter’s School from Atoizu Town A and Hulika Chophi of Adelfos School from Asukhuto town (Atoizu Town B) won the second and third prizes respectively. The fourth, fifth and sixth prizes were awarded to Abel of Adelfos School from Asukhuto town (Atoizu Town B), Vilivi Yeptho of GMS from Asukhuto town (Atoizu Town B) and Akika of St. Peter’s School from Atoizu Town A respectively.
The event concluded with a speech delivered by Hukashi Yeptho, assistant headmaster of Government High School, Atoizu, and a benediction said by Dr. Niholi Sema, assistant women pastor of SBAK, Nito Mount.
