
DIMAPUR — Auto Gallery FC Dimapur defeated Friends of Society Jalukie 1-0 in the first semifinal of the 2nd Autumn Cup, played on Wednesday at Medziphema local ground.
Auto Gallery FC put pressure on Friends of Society's defence with their pace but struggled with finishing. Meanwhile, Friends of Society's forwards were ineffective despite some well-executed short passes in the goal area, according to an update.
The only goal of the match was scored by Francis Muktar in the 50th minute, resulting in a final score of 1-0 in favour of Auto Gallery FC Dimapur.
In the second semifinal, Kuki Golgnai FC dominated from the outset. They controlled the midfield with precise short passes and consistently attacked the net against Medziphema Warriors.
The lead came early for Kuki Golgnai, with goals from Bebem in the 18th and 23rd minutes. It was further extended when Haogin scored from a sharp angle in the 29th minute.
In the second half, Kuki Golgnai focused on maintaining ball possession with occasional attacks. Medziphema Warrior managed to score in the 69th minute through Videbol. The game was sealed when Lalbem added another goal in the 72nd minute.
The final score was 4-1 in favour of Kuki Golgnai FC.

The final match will take place on August 30 at 2 pm, featuring a showdown between Kuki Golgnai FC and Auto Gallery FC.
