AUDSU organises freshesmen conclave

Our Correspondent Diphu, Sep. 16 (EMN): Assam University Diphu Campus Student’s Union (AUDCSU) has organised 3rd General Fresher’s meet held at Joysing Doloi Auditorium here on today. Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council, Executive Member incharge Sericulture department graced the occasion as the Chief guest said that,” it is great privilege for me to be apart of this occasion, notably Assam University Diphu Campus is the only central university in the hill district of Karbi Anglong. The set up of university in the hill region bring much profitable for the local students who could be able to pursue their higher education. After established of this university maximum number of local students needs not to go out for other distance place for higher students. So, he urges the students to get a maximum profit from this institution. The youths of today will be the leaders of tomorrow “. The programme was also attended by local executive member Ratan Teron and Longsing Teron, President Journalist Association Federation of Assam (JAFA) and other dignitaries were attended in the occasion. Meantime, on the same day, Diphu Goverment College Students Union Society (DGCSUC) also organised social fresher’s meet held at Rangsina Auditorium, Diphu Government College. The program was attended by Jagatsing Engti, KAAC, Executive Member incharge higher education department as the chief guest and Dr. Lipson Rongpi, Editor Drongo Express and others dignitaries were attended in the program.
