
Senti Longchar along with the officials of TaFMA and
participants during the inaugural programme of audio management workshop in
Kiphire on February 20.
- DIMAPUR — The
Task Force for Music and Arts (TaFMA), Government of Nagaland, under its
skilling Nagaland initiative, is currently conducting a three-day audio
management workshop in Kiphire from February 20 to the 22nd.
- The workshop aims to equip stakeholders with essential
technical skills in live sound management through both theoretical insights and
practical hands-on training, stated an update from TaFMA.
- The inaugural session was attended by Senti Longchar, DHO of
Kiphire, as the special guest. The event was facilitated by Albert Jingrü,
director of StarGazer Events, and began with an invocation prayer said by
Setsiba, pastor of South Zone KTBL.
- The welcome address was delivered by Leochum Thonger, TaFMA
district partner.
- In his speech, the guest of honour emphasised the importance
of such trainings and urged the participants to take full advantage of the opportunity
to enhance their skills. He also commended TaFMA for its dedication in
empowering individuals in the field of music and arts through such initiatives.
- It mentioned that the workshop was part of TaFMA’s larger
vision to strengthen the creative ecosystem of Nagaland. It added that similar
workshops have already been conducted in five districts namely Tseminyu,
Niuland, Chümoukedima, Noklak and Shamator—benefiting 175 enthusiastic
trainees.
- It informed that workshops would also be held in Phek and
Meluri during February, while for the remaining eight districts in the coming
months.
- Through Skilling Nagaland, TaFMA continues to empower
stakeholders with essential professional skills, ensuring the sustained growth
and excellence of Nagaland’s music and arts industry.
