- DIMAPUR — The
Task Force for Music and Arts (TaFMA), Government of Nagaland, under its
ongoing capacity-building initiative Skilling Nagaland, is organising a
three-day masterclass in audio management from May 21 to the 23rd at the
Regional Centre of Excellence for Music and Performing Arts (RCEMPA), Jotsoma.
- According to a DIPR report, in his inaugural speech, Project
Director of TaFMA, Dr. Hovithal Sothu, encouraged participants to learn as much
as possible and make a difference in society.
- He also stressed that audio management and sound engineering
are full professions and encouraged young enthusiasts to take them seriously.

- The workshop was officially inaugurated on Wednesday. A brief
introduction to the training was presented by course coordinator Menguzelie
Marcus Geisuo.
- The masterclass is designed specifically for sound operators
and technical members from across Nagaland, recognising their important role in
managing live sound and audio systems during services and events.
- It aims to provide hands-on training and technical insight
into sound system operations, ensuring participants are equipped with practical
skills.
