Vanguard Academy and TYO draw 2-2 in the Atuo Mezhür Sekhose Super League at IG Stadium, Kohima.

KOHIMA — Vanguard Academy and Tsütuonuomia Youth Organisation (TYO) played out a 2–2 draw in the sixth match of the ongoing 1st Atuo Mezhür Sekhose Super League 2026 at the IG Stadium, Kohima, on Tuesday.
During the first half of the match, Vanguard Academy made a bright start, with a goal from Hiti Seb in the 13th minute. However, TYO responded shortly after, with Toka Achumi equalising the score in the 17th minute.
TYO then took the lead with their second goal, as Toka Achumi scored again in the 24th minute to make the score 2-1.
Vanguard Academy continued to press for an equaliser and were eventually rewarded when Hiti Seb struck again in the second half to complete his brace and level the score at 2–2.
Neither side could find a decisive winner in the remaining minutes, and the points were shared after an evenly contested encounter.
The draw leaves Vanguard Academy in third place with four points from three matches, having recorded one win, one draw, and one defeat. For TYO, the point takes them to one point from three matches, with one draw and two defeats.
At the top of the table, Sechü Zubza FC continue to lead with six points from two matches and a +8 goal difference, while Mez & Co are second, also on six points from two matches, with a +6 goal difference. Both sides have maintained perfect winning records so far.
Nurturing Youngsters FC remain at the bottom with no points from two matches, having scored five goals and conceded 14.
Tuesday's match between Vanguard Academy and TYO was officiated by referee Mechievilie Yashü, Assistant Referee I Kezevituo Vizo, Assistant Referee II Vihetuo Chietsü, and Fourth Official Michael Dul.
Medozevi Punyü served as the Match Commissioner. Ketouneilhou Khezhie, Vice President of the Kohima Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI), was the Match Patron.
The 1st Atuo Mezhür Sekhose Super League 2026 is organised by the Kohima District Football Association (KDFA) under the aegis of the Nagaland Football Association (NFA), in collaboration with the Department of Youth Resources and Sports.
Match seven of the league is scheduled for August 19 and will see Nurturing Youngsters FC take on Mez & Co at the IG Stadium, Kohima, with Teisongulie Dzüvichü, Finance Secretary of Kohima Town Club and Chairman of Keziekie (North Block), serving as the Match Patron.
