We have so many relevant and pressing issues confronting the Naga society today. It behoves our representatives/MLAs to take up those in the August House of the Nagaland Legislative Assembly in appropriate manners. There is no one to supplant their roles on those issues/matters of urgent importance. We even expect some burdened members to play the role of Opposition in an opposition-less House in public interest.

What is most needed today is matured debates in the arena meant for such entreaty concerning their people in areas they represent plus the challenges in the borders and political affairs etc.

In a democracy, the will of the people is supreme and it is the desire of the public to see that the state government and our honourable representatives put first things first, rather than a tendency to become chatty.

We all know that satanic power cannot be overcome by some legislation though this defeated foe is becoming more active in many ways knowing that his days are numbered. None can usurp the role of the Church in this respect. Let us all remain alert and responsive as believers.
