Atoizu GB appeals for maintenance of Coco-Doyang, Saptiqa road

Dimapur, Aug. 15 (EMN): While extending its appreciation to MLA Picto Shohe for repairing and maintaining the Coco-Doyang and Saptiqa road at his own expenses, the Atoizu GB Federation has reminded the state government to revisit the history of Coco-Doyang and Saptiqa road and initiate further development at the earliest.

In a press release, the federation also requested the concerned department to give priority to the mentioned roads, as it is the main lifeline of the citizens of Coco-Doyang and Saptiqa areas in particular and Zunheboto district in general.

The road was in deplorable and pathetic condition for quite sometime and denizens have been facing untold hardship, however, with the intervention of the MLA and assistance from executive engineer, Atoizu, the road has somehow maintained to some extent despite the unavailability of maintenance funds from the government, it stated.
