Atma Tuli block conducts training for farmers

Dimapur, Nov. 1 (EMN): Agricultural Technology Management Agency (Atma), Tuli block of Mokokchung district inaugurated a farm school and conducted training and demonstration programme on October 30.

The farm school was inaugurated on poultry farming and also conducted training on management of poultry bird at Longli ward in Tuli town. Altogether, 18 farmers enrolled as students in the farm school, an update informed.

Besides, a demonstration on line sowing of carrot was conducted at Tzudikong. The block had also provided seed money to Ludenla SHG in Tzudikong and encouraged the farmers to continue their hard work and set example to other farmers.

The resource persons were ATM Shilunokdang Jamir and the farm school teacher, Temsulong.
