[caption id="attachment_136609" align="alignleft" width="300"] Participants along with the resource person posing for lens during demonstration on Kholar cultivation in Henbenji village.[/caption] Dimapur, Sep. 3 (EMN): ATMA Kohima under Tseminyu Block has organised a demonstration programme on Kholar cultivation in Henbenji village on August 31with Kevineituo Bier, ATM, ATMA, as the resource person. The resource person highlighted on the benefits and prospects of kholar cultivation in Nagaland and demonstrated the package and practices of kholar cultivation. The programme was chaired by Keluongulie Tseikha, AFA, while the invocation was said by Nnole Cheng and the vote of thanks was delivered by Ahile Tep. All together nine farmer participants attended the programme and seeds were distributed to the farmers. In a separate programme, ATMA Kohima under Botsa Block conducted a field demonstration on low cost vegetable cultivation and inaugurated a Fishery Farm School on August 29 at Tsiemekhuma village (bawe). Resource person Hainenle Tep, ATM, explained and demonstrated on step by step method of cultivation from nursery bed to field and highlighted the economic benefits. Fishery Farm School was also inaugurated with a farm school teacher Ruokuo Babo. The participants actively took part in the discussion.
