
DIMAPUR — Agricultural Technology Management Agency (ATMA) Niuland organised a week-long skill training of rural youth (STRY) programme on processing and value addition of fish and fishery products from November 25 to the 30th at the ATMA Niuland office, with 19 participants from different villages taking part.
According to an update, the resource persons for the event, block technology manager Vinatoli and assistant technology manager Hitokali, conducted detailed sessions on fish preservation techniques, preparation of fish pickles, and value-added products.
Participants participated in practical demonstrations, gaining hands-on experience in fish processing and entrepreneurial strategies. The programme concluded with participants being awarded certificates of completion.
