ATMA functionaries undergo soft skills training

DIMAPUR — The State Agricultural Management and Extension Training Institute (SAMETI) organised a four-day training programme on "Soft skills for interpersonal effectiveness of extension personnel" for Agricultural Technology Management Agency (ATMA) functionaries from January 22 to 25.

According to a press release, the resource persons for the training, which was held at its premises in Medziphema, were Extension Education Institute (NE Region) faculty members Dr. Chittaranjan Deka and Madhusmita Dutta.

The valedictory programme, chaired by Dr. H Mhonthung Merry, deputy project director of SAMETI, featured feedback from all participants and certificate distribution by Dr. Watimongla Jamir, director of SAMETI and principal of Integrated Extension Training Centre (IETC), Nagaland.
