Athletes win medals in Imphal

EMN DIMAPUR, MARCH 9 Nagaland State Athletics Team has bagged 15 medals including 6 Gold at the recently concluded National Level North East Games held in Imphal. Nekhoto, Khrielasakuo, Seluokuolie, Aungkali and Tsuchoi have won Gold medals for the state team and silver medals have been won by the 4x400 m women team comprising Khrietrizo, Aungkali, Avitsuju, Tsujen, Peiheiteile and Tsuchoi. The 6 Bronze medal winners are Mhonsao, Kuvelu, Khrieno, Tsujen (4x100 men) Rongsenmenre, Mhonsao, Senti Ao, Nekhoto (4x100 women), Dusuhulu, Amenla Ao, Tsujen and Avitsuju. The women team in athletics was runners up in overall championship and women’s section. The team was led by coaches Khriezotounuo and B Awala Walling.
