Athletes from Nagaland win three gold, three silver in Indo-Nepal games

Nagaland Shaolin Kung-Fu Association has congratulated the athletes from
Nagaland for bringing laurels to the state and country by winning medals in the
recently concluded 4th Indo-Nepal International Games held at Kirtipur Indoor
Stadium, Nepal, from March 28 to the 30th.
- In an update, it was stated that the event, organised by the
International Karate Organisation World So-Kyokushin under the banners of the
International All Sports Games Federation, saw the Nagaland team competing in
the Wushu Sanda category.
- In the juniors' category, Namlang Zeliang secured a silver
medal in the Under-45 kg category.
- In the seniors' category, Amin Ali won a silver medal in the
Under-55 kg category, while Nyurhunlo Kent claimed a silver medal in the
Under-50 kg category.
- In the masters' category, Ruokuo John Sorunuo achieved a
gold medal in the Under-80 kg category. Meyiesielie Albert Sorunuo won a gold
medal in the Under-115 kg category, and David Keneingutuo Sorunuo earned a gold
medal in the Under-95 kg category.
