ATA launches new theological institute

[caption id="attachment_237908" align="aligncenter" width="565"] Well wishers along with board members and faculty pose for a group photo after the launching of Asia Graduate School of Theology, North East India on March 10.[/caption] Dimapur, March 10 (EMN): In a unique partnership between Shalom Bible Seminary (SBS), Sechü-Zubza in Kohima district and Oriental Theological Seminary (OTS), Bade in Dimapur district, an institute under the aegis of Asia Theological Association (ATA) known as Asia Graduate School of Theology, North East India (AGST, NEI) was launched in Shalom’s Spicer Hall on March 10. Dr. Theresa Lua, ATA general secretary, administered the charge and declaration, while the prayer of blessing was pronounced by Dr. Paul Cornelius, ATA regional secretary, India. Principal of Shalom Bible Seminary, Sanyu Iralu, stated that with the launching of the consortium, SBS and OTS would collaborate to kick-start Master of Theology (M. Th) programmes in several disciplines starting from July 2020 session. The launching programme was attended by host of well-wishers from the Philippines, Ghana and India besides board members, faculty, staff, and students from both the seminaries.
