Continuing with the preparations for ‘The Morung Fest 2015,’ Ao Students’ Union Diphupar (ASUD) conducted an orientation programme for participants of the Morung Indigenous Food Contest 2015 on November 21 at the Bambusa Restaurant, 6th Mile Dimapur.After a brief address by the convenor of Organising Committee, Opanglemba, the Morung Indigenous Food Contest judges led by the chief judge, Joel Basumatari, and his colleagues Alemjungla Jamir and Chenti Phom conducted the orientation who explained the rules and regulations of the contest and other instructions to the participants.
ASUD would be providing stalls to each participating tribe to display and sell their respective culinary items as well as souvenirs and other gift items. A lottery was conducted to allocate stalls to the participants at the end of the programme.
The organisers of ‘The Morung Fest 2015’ cordially invited one and all to come, explore and experience the Morung Indigenous Food Contest on December 3 and 4.
