Representatives from the Association of Healthcare Providers
of India briefing Manipur Governor Ajay Kumar Bhalla on healthcare challenges
at Raj Bhavan, Imphal, on Wednesday.
- IMPHAL — Representatives
from the Association of Healthcare Providers of India (AHPI), led by Dr. K
Palin Singh, called on Manipur Governor Ajay Kumar Bhalla at Raj Bhavan,
Imphal, on Wednesday and briefed the governor on the financial challenges faced
by the healthcare sector due to resource constraints in centrally and
state-funded schemes.
- Chairman and managing director (CMD) of Babina Healthcare
and Hospitality Dr. Th Dhabali, CMD of Raj Medicity Rajen Singh, and managing
director of Acme Fertility and Healthcare Centre Dr. James Elangbam were also
present on the occasion.

- In another instance, representatives from Dhanamanjuri
University, Imphal, led by vice chancellor Prof. Chandbabu Singh, also called
on the governor at Raj Bhavan, Imphal, and briefed him on the administrative
and infrastructural challenges faced by the faculties, seeking assistance from
Raj Bhavan.
- They also invited the governor to visit the Dhanamanjuri
University campus. The governor assured them of his attention to the matter and
acknowledged their concerns.
