- DIPHU — The
ongoing Assam Youth League 2025 for the Under-17 Group A, being held at the
Karbi Anglong Sports Association (KASA) stadium, saw the host team, KASA
Football Coaching Centre (KASAFCC), secure nine points after playing four
matches in the group stage.
- The tournament, organised by the Assam Football Association
(AFA) and hosted by KASA, kicked off on January 11 and will conclude on
February 3.
- In their opening match against HSC on January 11, KASAFCC
dominated with a 20-0 victory. They continued their winning streak, defeating
PJP 5-1 on January 16.
- In their third match against SAI, Guwahati, KASAFCC emerged
victorious with a 7-0 score. Archim Hanse, Kaiding Timung, and Mirlong Engleng
each scored one goal, while Rosan Dungdung and Sasang Hengna scored two goals
each.
- Group A consists of eight teams: Prgyotishpur Football Club,
Guwahati (PJP); Jorhat Town Club (JTC); Harvest Sports Club (HSC); KASAFCC;
SAI, Guwahati; Lenruol FC (LFC); Guwahati Town Club (GTC); and Poynt Sports
Academy (PSA).
- In the Under-15 category of the same league, KASAFCC played
one match against Numaligarh Refinery Limited Football Academy (NRL) on January
19, winning 3-1. Their second match is scheduled against BNK.
- Group A in the Under-15 category comprises teams such as
BNKFC, Duliajan FCC, Immortal Warriors FC, Tezpur, KASAFCC, NRL, Silchar
Football Academy, and Morning FC.
- KASAFCC is performing well in both the Under-17 and Under-15
categories.
