dumper was involved in an accident and toppled over near Yungphangh village in
Tuensang on January 29.
- An update from Assam Rifles stated that, responding swiftly,
the force provided immediate assistance, deploying all available resources to
aid in the rescue and recovery efforts.
- It said that upon receiving information about the accident,
Assam Rifles personnel quickly reached the site with a recovery vehicle to help
clear the wreckage. The troops also extended medical aid to the injured driver
and co-driver and provided humanitarian support to those affected.
- “Their prompt action ensured that necessary assistance was
delivered efficiently, minimising further risks and facilitating smooth rescue
operations,” it read, adding that the Assam Rifles remains committed to serving
the people.
