Tuensang, participate in a camp and hike.
- DIMAPUR — To promote physical fitness,
adventure, and environmental awareness, Assam Rifles High School, Tuensang,
organised a camp and hike with participation from the principal, teachers, and
students.
- According to an update, the day-long activity took
participants through scenic routes around Tuensang, offering opportunities to
connect with nature and appreciate the region’s natural beauty.
- Alongside the physical activity, the event emphasised the
importance of environmental stewardship and resilience. The camp also included
interactive sessions and group activities designed to build camaraderie and
leadership among the students.
- Assam Rifles, meanwhile, conducted a security meeting and
awareness session with village GBs, council members, and representatives from
various departments in Wangti, Mon district.

- The meeting saw participation from representatives of 17
villages, including head GBs, chairmen, village guards, and local leaders.
Officials from Konyak Union also attended the meeting.
- The interaction focused on security-related issues,
fostering stronger coordination between the local populace and security forces,
and promoting peace and development in the region, including the border areas.
- Also, under Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat (EBSB), Assam Rifles
organised a friendly football match on Monday between troops and the local
youth of Wakching town, Mon district.
