Dimapur, May 7 (EMN): The Changlang Battalion of Assam Rifles under the aegis of Dao Division apprehended six drug peddlers on nights of May 5 and 6.
In a statement, PRO (Defence) Col C Konwer said four drug peddlers were apprehended from the check post established at the Longran and the other two from Yongchik. Security forces recovered a total of 930 gms opium from their possession. It said all the drug peddlers were handed over to Police Station Changlang.
