Assam Rifles IGs’ annual conference underway in Shillong

The two-day conference which began on Oct. 11 aims to discuss, plan and strategise various security dynamics pertaining to the international border management by the troops besides deliberating issues like force modernisation, smart solutions, leveraging technology for operational, administrative and man management issues for enhancing overall efficiency of the Assam Rifles. The programme presided over by the DG Assam Rifles, is expected to seek solutions to threats that challenge the internal peace and security of the north eastern states and also issues related to Indo - Myanmar border management, a statement from SM PRO Assam Rifles Lt. Col Arindam Ghosh said.
