
DIMAPUR — Assam Rifles organised a musical fest under the theme ‘Rhythm of Nagas’ at Rangapahar Military Station, Dimapur, on September 2.
The event was organised to foster the talented youth of Nagaland and to provide a platform to showcase the rich Naga culture and its unbreakable bond with music.
It was graced by Lt. Gen. HS Sahi, AVSM, YSM, SM, GOC, Spear Corps, as the chief guest, and the fest witnessed an attendance of more than 200 people, according to a press release.
[bsa_pro_ad_space id=1]The first performance at the event was the song and dance 'We are Nagas' by Imna Yaden in collaboration with Tribal Creed Troupe, which was followed by a performance by Five Minutes Band and a foot-tapping dance performance by Dance India Dance famed Meyitemsu.
Performances by the Bright Light Choir, Mayoni Phinao, and Jazz Bands of the Assam Rifles also enthralled the audience.
The event concluded with the felicitation of the participants by the chief guest.
