DIMAPUR — Assam Rifles organised a security meeting with Kezo Town, Kezoma, Kezo Basa, Kidima, and Sakhabama villages at Chakhabama on Wednesday.

The meeting discussed various issues concerning the welfare of the villages, including administration, the security scenario, and other social issues in the area, according to a press release.

During the meeting, the "Agnipath Scheme" was highlighted to raise awareness among the village representatives. The goal was to motivate eligible candidates from their respective villages to join the armed forces.

A medical check-up was also organised for the villagers attending the meeting.

Altogether, 18 people, including a GB, village council members, youth members, and others, attended the meeting.
