Dimapur, April 10 (EMN): Kohima battalion of the Assam Rifles organised an interaction session with veterans and their dependents at its battalion headquarters, Kohima, on April 6.
The interaction was organised with and aim to express solidarity and to assist them in resolving their concerns. Altogether, 14 veterans and their dependents attended the event.
In a related programme, Kiphire battalion of the Assam Rifles conducted a lecture for residents of Mimi village on April 8. The lecture covered various schemes available in the agriculture sector for the benefit of farmers and unemployed youth.
Altogether, 15 residents attended the lecture.
