Rifles organised an awareness programme at Chakabama, Kohima, on Monday to
inform attendees about the Assam Rifles Technical and Tradesmen Rally, offering
guidance on enrolment opportunities in various technical trades.
- An update stated that the event saw the participation of 33
civilians from nine villages, including village heads and young aspirants.
- As part of the event, a lecture was conducted to educate
aspirants about the eligibility criteria, the selection process, and career
prospects in the Assam Rifles, encouraging local youth to consider a career in
the force.
- Furthermore, with the aim of providing access to medical
facilities, Assam Rifles organised a medical camp in Phaijol village, Peren.
- The camp saw a significant turnout from Phaijol and nearby
villages, benefiting a total of 128 people, including 50 women and 30 children.
