DIMAPUR — Assam Rifles organised an awareness
lecture on the occasion of World AIDS Day for the people of Inbung village in
Peren district, with 56 people attending the lecture.
According to an update, the lecture focused on basic
information about the HIV virus and the resulting AIDS disease, as well as the
protective measures that can be taken at a personal level to prevent the spread
of HIV.
It was mentioned that the lecture was well received by the
people, who positively identified with the theme of the occasion, "Take
the right path: my health, my right”.
