Chandel District, April 27 (EMN): To further build bridges with the populace of remote villages along the Indo-Myanmar border, 4 ASSAM Regiment of 26 Sector Assam rifles under the aegis of HQ IGAR (South) is organising an Open Football Championship.
People from different villages and tribes have come together to celebrate the spirit of games and camaraderie. Championship started on 25 April 2017, with 12 Teams competing. Youth of these villages are showing tremendous enthusiasm. In addition to building a friendly and trustworthy environment, this initiative would also promote local talent and guide the locals to a glorious path.
